Suistanable and responsible sourcing

Our Raw Materials

We believe in reasonable and sustainable harvesting and source seasonal produce with respect for safe environmental farming practices. We source raw materials within the shortest distance as often as possible and pursue the development of local sourcing in France.
We accentuate our commitment by offering a range of certified organic recipes.

Seafood: Preserving our natural resources

Frial proudly supports the continuous improvement efforts to protect our waters. Much of our seafood comes from responsible fishing and farming andis guaranteed through the MSC-ASC-BIO label and national standards.
We continue to be a privileged member of the French fishing industry and adhere to environmental guidelines for the sensible purchase of products from our coasts while strengthening long-term local partnerships..

Continuously and throughout every stage of production we invest in the protection of our environment through:
– Analysis of our energy and water consumption
– Registration with ECO-FLUX diagnostics, optimizing the flow of transport, energy, and materials for each different site
– Noise reduction
– Analysis and life cycle monitoring of waste production and recycling

In 2003, Frial participated in the launch of the first composting station for organic and sludge waste.

In 2014, only some our waste was treated by methanation.
Today, we recover 90% of our used water and food waste through recycling, methanation, composting, and other sustainable practices.

At Frial, we are committed to a diverse and inclusive culture and we believe that offering equal opportunities to each and every employee, at all levels and in all positions is a pillar of our success.

In 2024, FRIAL achieved a score of 98 points out of 100. This score is explained by the continuity of our compensation policy exchanges (promotion passages and FRIAL’s own salary scale), enabling us to achieve professional equality close to the maximum score. Thanks to the agreement signed in 2023 for the next 3 years, FRIAL is continuing its commitment to professional equality. 📝

Our mission as a responsible employer is to support our community through local job creation and vocational programs for students entering the workforce.

Our improvements to include persons with disabilities have allowed us to provide employment to 6% of our workforce requiring special accommodations, thus meeting their restrictions. Well-being in the workplace is the foundation for participation and engagement at all levels and we remain dedicated to continuous ergonomic improvements.
